VIEWLOg 4 will install in a new directory so existing VLW3 settings will not be overwritten.  

To transfer over your existing VLW3 default settings copy the following files from your	\Program Files\VIEWLOG3  directory into the \Program Files\VIEWLOG4 main directory: 

Viewlog.pgt 	User defined page templates 
Viewlog.lgt	User defined log format templates 
Viewlog.lsm	Lithology symbols (*.lsm files)
Viewlog.eqn	User defined log equations 


Note: on 64 bit operating systems the files need to be copied from 
	\Program Files (x86)\VIEWLOG3  

to the directory
	\Program Files (x86)\VIEWLOG4

Using VIEWLOG without a hardware key: 

- Evaluating VIEWLOG (Demo Mode) 
- Using VIEWLOG as a "Reader" to browse existing files

When no hardware key dongle is available the program will operate in Demo/Reader Mode, allowing all functions but File Save and Print.
