1. Scroll to the required lab using the record navigation buttons in the lower left hand corner of the form.
2. Click on the required analytical package name, then select a parameter family from the Parameter Family drop down list (metals, for example). This list contains all of the parameters that have been set up in the data database.
Note: If the parameter you require is not on the list, you must go to the Parameters form and add it to the database. For the new parameter to appear on the Laboratories form, you must either close and re-open the Laboratories form or re-select the parameter family from the Parameter Family drop down list.
3. From the list of available parameters, click on the parameters that are part of the analytical package.
Note: Depending on what you do between adding a new package and parameter selection, you may get a message box stating that you need to reselect your parameter package. Do so and continue with the process.
Caution! Once you have scheduled samples to use this analysis package, by altering the package in any way you will affect both samples that have already been scheduled and/or collected as well as future samples requiring this package. A notification of this will appear if you try to alter packages that have already been used by SiteFX.
