1. Press Add New Sample. Note that the status reads Enter Mode.
2. Select Site, Interval Type and Interval Name from the drop down lists.
Note: If the Interval Name you wish to use is not on the list, either re-select the site and interval type or add the interval using the Location form. You may need to close and re-open this form for the new interval to appear.
3. Enter particulars of sample (date, staff etc)
4. Select analytical packages from list and specify whether the bottle already has a label or not.
Note: The list of packages is generated from the Laboratories form (see the Laboratories section for more information). The Unscheduled Samples form may need to be closed and re-opened to update the list of packages if changes to the laboratory packages have been made during the current working session.
Note: If you specify that the bottle does not have a label, it will appear on the Print Sample Labels form as not having had a label.
5. When complete, press Register Sample
