Deleting Locations/ Boreholes/ Intervals

1.  To delete a location, borehole or interval you must first find the location where you want to make the deletion and then enter Edit mode by pressing the Edit button (see the section Editing Locations/ Boreholes/ Intervals for more details on how to use edit mode).

2.  Find the location, borehole or interval you wish to delete by selecting the appropriate location or interval in the window on the Location Properties form. 

3.  On the Location Properties form there is a Delete button for each of Locations, Intervals, Borehole Info, and Geology that will delete the named component. Press the Delete button according to what component you have selected. In each case there will be a message box stating the consequences of the deletion and you will be asked to confirm deletion. Press Yes to delete.

Caution! Deleting an interval may delete all associated chemistry and water levels records. Deleting a borehole will delete all associated construction details. Deleting a location will delete all associated boreholes, monitoring intervals, chemistry and water level data.
