1. Using the Search Locations form, press the Show All button. This returns all locations in the database into the Location List. Alternatively, search a specific location by typing in some criteria, then press the Search button.
Note: Detailed information on using the search form can be found in the previous section.
2. The Location List is now populated with a list of locations which meet the criteria entered. Select one of the locations from the list.
3. The Location Properties form pops up. From here you can browse the information related to this location.
4. Click the button labeled Edit. Fields on the form will switch to a white background, and be enabled to receive edits. SiteFX will also automatically take you to the Location tab. Note that the Edit button will remain depressed.
Note: When editing values, be sure to supply all units of measurement. There are no default unit settings.
5. Move through the various tabs and make changes as required. When finished, press the Browse button to change the mode back to ‘browse’, or press the close button. When the button is pressed, a message box will appear asking whether you wish calculate elevations. Selecting Yes will recalculate all elevation in the database.
Tip: If you are making changes at several locations, you need only to choose Yes to this message box for the last change.
