Printing Unscheduled Sample Labels

1.  Choose either the first option (samples being collected but not shipped) or the second option (samples without labels). All unscheduled samples that were identified as not having a label will appear under option two. Option one will produce a list of both scheduled and unscheduled samples.

Note: Samples are identified as ‘not shipped’ if they have not been marked as shipped using the Chain of Custody form.

2.  Sort the records in the order you desire by clicking on the heading name. The heading will turn red and records will alternate their sort order as ascending or descending as you click.

3.  Use the Select All Samples button, the UnSelect All Sample button and the individual check boxes (to the left of the sample name) to select which samples you would like print labels for.

4.  Select Print Labels to generate an on-screen preview of the labels.

5.  Press Ctrl+P (at same time) to print to default printer.

6.  Press Update DB to Mark Samples as Labeled button to update the database to indicate that these labels have been printed.
